How I ended up in the business of helping you!

My wife, Kayli and I were on a pre-kids backpacking-ish trip through Europe.  We were being inspired by culture, diversity, hospitality and generosity of humanity.  We didn’t want it to end.  While on a train to Paris from Switzerland, listening to M83 and reading a book called A Million Miles in a Thousand Years by Donald Miller, it hit me.  Like a ton of bricks, and it felt so good!

In that moment of clarity, epiphany even, I realized that I could write my own story.  I was more confident than ever that I could do whatever I wanted.  My work could have purpose, substance, be deeply rewarding and satisfying.  This was an absolute freeing realization.  The story I wanted to write was lead role in the restoration of individuals, relationships and families. 

So, naturally, with my wife’s support, I sent in my resignation letter to my sales job from a hotel room in Paris and extended our Europe vacation. 

And the rest is history.
